A virtual event that was Out of this World
As their marque customer event, the pandemic meant the Boomi global tour went virtual. Branded as ‘Out of this World’, we worked the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) marketing team to develop and deliver the regional leg as a truly ‘Out of this World’ experience.
Aligning to the global event, we need to build a full event agenda and experience to resonate with an APJ audience. The first place we started was to develop the overarching theme: A Journey to Integrated Experiences; with full message pillars to inform the agenda and customer stories for the sessions.
Working as part of a cross-collaborative team, we developed all the stories, conversational threads and content which shaped the virtual event, including managing all the guest speakers and producing the webcast recordings.
With all the content in place, including the promotional assets across social and email, the virtual event delivered on APJ targets for registrations and attendance in November 2021.
Out of this Office
Not stopping there, we wanted to extend the high value content delivered through the event, and drive additional engagement over the December and January holiday period. We curated the top learnings and content from Out of this World and created a digestible audiobook (Out of this Office edition), for executives to enjoy during the holiday downtime.
This extension helped drive significant new MQLs, sales opportunities and already delivered tracked revenue.
